The gentle rolling rapids never go above grade 2 making this a great trip for families and for those looking for a more relaxed experience. The trip starts at the base of the spectacular Aniwhenua Falls. A beautiful waterfall framed by sheer rock walls. This is just the start of an amazing piece of scenic New Zealand with several other waterfalls & spectacular forest as we wind our way for one and a half hours down the river.

Lake Kayaking
Rotorua Adventures (formerly River Rats Raft & Kayak) have been offering quality adventures for over 40 years. Join us for a guided Kayak trip across scenic Lake Rotoiti to the spectacular Manupirua Springs Hot Pools. This amazing spot is situated right on the lake edge and only accessible by boat. In summer an evening option is available with a BBQ dinner, and a sunset paddle to a hidden glow worm cave.
