Vouchers must be purchased in advance, are not exchangeable for cash, and are non-refundable. Purchases are for a specific treatment experience, and we are unable to offer an alternative treatment to the one listed on the voucher. Please check that you are suitable for treatment before purchase.
Single Treatment Purchases
You must phone or email Studio 8 Beauty in advance of your intention to use or redeem your voucher and quote the unique voucher number at the time of making the initial booking if you wish to book before the validity date or, for your convenience, online booking will be available from the voucher validity date in the Robovoucher section on our website online booking. Please add your voucher code to the notes section at the time of booking.
We try to be as accommodating as possible but cannot guarantee that a specific therapist is available. Unless you request a specific therapist, you will be booked with the 1st available therapist. We suggest booking early to avoid disappointment.
Cancellations and rescheduling
Please contact us as soon as you know you cannot attend so that we can refill the diary time. We operate a 48-hour cancellation policy for all Robovouchers. We understand that life can be chaotic, and we try to be fair to all Clients and expect Clients to treat our business the same. If you fail to attend your booking without giving notice (no show), you will be unable to rebook your appointment, and your voucher will be redeemed in your absence to recover our business cost. If you need to reschedule or cancel in advance, please give us as much notice as possible so we may offer the diary time to other clients. Our cancellation policy applies to all bookings. Extenuating circumstances are at the management's discretion. Unused diary time due to late cancellations and rescheduling is hard to rebook, and you may be charged a cancellation fee of 50% of the treatment value to cover the therapist's time.
If you feel unwell within the cancellation policy period or on the day of treatment, please cancel your appointment as this safeguards other clients and staff from illness as well as ensures the best treatment result or experience. Where possible & suitable, you may send another family member or friend in your place to redeem the voucher. To be fair, cancellations due to illness do not apply to our cancellation policy; however, we reserve the right to apply our cancellation policy for multiple or repeated cancellations regardless of reason.
Packages & Course Purchases
Our standard RoboVoucher cancellation policy applies to all course bookings and packages. Some treatments (especially IPL, skin peels and exfoliating facials) require pre-treatment precautions that must be followed to ensure suitability for your treatment:
IMPORTANT PLEASE READ
If you have had a change of medication, medical health or skin care product since your last appointment or consultation, please contact the salon in advance of your treatment booking to ensure you are still suitable for treatment. If you have been recently UV-exposed to greater than moderate sun exposure (especially during holidays or where prolonged UV exposure, regardless of SPF, has still resulted in burning or a change of skin colour), please alert the salon ASAP. Contraindications to treatment due to not following pre-treatment guidance & failure to alert the salon for guidance, which impact your ability to have your treatment on the day, a cancellation charge may apply.
Lash & Brow, Skin Peels or where indicated in treatment description - requires a patch test 24-48 hours prior to treatment (no exceptions)
IPL Patch Testing - at the start of your course, requires a full consultation & patch test 48 hours prior to treatment (no exceptions). This is included free of charge as part of your course purchase. However, if you have been sun exposed and your skin tone/colour (Fitzpatrick Type) has changed from your original patch test, you will need to be re-patch tested, and a charge may apply.
We are unable to run late due to clients not attending on time. Please attend your appointment on time to ensure we can deliver the best treatment experience for you. If you arrive late, where possible, your treatment will be reduced to fit the remaining time. If this is the case, your voucher will still be redeemed as if the full treatment had taken place. If we are unable to adapt the treatment, you will be asked to rebook, and a charge for late cancellation will apply.
Expiry of Vouchers
Our promotional vouchers provide added value, savings, or a limited edition experience or theme. For that reason, our Vouchers are valid for the specified period on the voucher and will expire at the end of this period if unused. Extensions of expiry dates are at the discretion of Studio 8 Beauty, and an admin fee of £10 may apply. Please ensure that you book in advance to avoid disappointment.
