Your fully trained therapist will use a range of gentle techniques that are designed specifically to help mums find comfort or relief from the day to day pains, aches, and strains of pregnancy in order to completely relax during and after their term. Regular massages can also help facilitate a faster post-pregnancy recovery. During an initial consultation, your therapist conducts a postural analysis and asks about any muscles or areas that require special attention. Lying on your side, our therapist will gently position your arms and legs to ensure maximum comfort. After warming your muscles with light compressions, the therapist uses a combination of effleurage, gliding strokes and kneading throughout the duration of the massage. Following treatment, your therapist will also discuss a self-care plan and recommend follow-up treatments if needed.
