Our Trial lesson in the the R22 start at 30 minute aircraft time, with and additional 30 minutes pre flight briefing that is necessary for the legal requirements as this is a training flight and can be included as flight time toward any future licence issue if the student wishes to pursue the flying.
The whole experience takes an hour or so, with the briefing ,the flight and time at the end of the sortie for cockpit photography. After which we present the the student pilot with a certificate to commemorate their first helicopter flying experience.
The student pilot briefing based on the EASA Helicopter Syllabus exercises 1-3 and 11a. They will have notes to take away and we can supply a log book at an extra cost to record their flight experience ready for any future lessons or licence issue!
The type of aircraft used depends upon the weight of the student, if the student is less than 16 stone then the R22 will be suitable, if the student pilot is over that then the Robinson R44 will be required.
