Three very different therapeutic treatments, but each one is geared towards enhancing your overall well-being.
Reflexology is a gentle therapy based on the principle that reflex areas in the feet are linked, through the nervous system, to other areas of the body. Balance is restored to the body by applying pressure to the reflex areas.
Reiki is suitable for everyone, including the very young, the elderly, the chronically ill and those recovering from surgery. Practitioners often say that an hour of reiki is equivalent to several hours of deep relaxing sleep. No physical pressure is applied during a reiki session and the client lies on the therapy bed fully clothed, with the therapist gently placing their hands on the client’s head and body, with each position held for several minutes.
Pregnancy massage can help with many of the associated symptoms of pregnancy, particularly in the latter stages when backache can become a real issue! The therapist will ensure that you are comfortable at all times lying on your back, side or seated and will use pillows to ensure you are in the most comfortable position.
It is recommended that you wait until the second trimester (13 weeks) before receiving massage, so please make sure you tell your therapist if you are, think you may be, pregnant.
